Life could be so much better for all of us. We could organise our society in a way where all of our basic needs are met, where we would have sufficient time to pursue our passions, and where lectures on pulling up bootstraps would be even more useless than they are today.

I'm launching Sower to prove that a better world is possible. Through a monthly feature article, I will explore how we can fix the mess we're currently in. Each article will provide actionable advice at the end for how people can turn those ideas into a reality, with a focus on building communities. You can also expect other relevant content like shorter essays, book or film reviews, and more.

The first article—Working less is the most underrated climate solution—will be published on Wednesday 14th of May. It explores the connection between working hours and emissions, how the climate movement is perhaps missing a trick, and ideas on what life could look like if we spent less time on the clock. Suggested actions include joining a trade union and a step-by-step guide on organising in your workplace.
